Hayden Panettiere goes sheer at Golden Globe parties

30 January, 2011 - Here's one way to stand out on Golden Globe night: Wear a sheer dress. Hayden Panettiere is drawing some attention with hers, which revealed pasties -- or Band-aids -- or "adhesives," as the New York's Daily News called them -- underneath. She party-hopped, hitting the HBO and InStyle-Warner Bros. post-show bashes with her boyfriend, heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko. ...

Kim Kardashian put photos on her blog of her post-Globe party fun with the Glee cast. ... And some couples tried to duck the cameras, including Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth, and Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. ...

All this talk about Ricky Gervais not being invited back to do the Globes? Loyal Lifeline Live readers know that he never wanted to be. We told you on Dec. 8 that Gervais said in a press call: "I didn't expect to be invited back a second time. I won't do it a third, so I've got nothing to lose."

Hayden Panettiere's pasties malfunction at Golden Globes after party

Hayden Panettiere apparently used pasties in an attempt to prevent a wardrobe malfunction at the Golden Globes awards afterparty on Sunday night. But it turned out to a fashion faux pas.

The former 'Heroes' actress arrived at the party wearing a low-cut, sheer navy dress, accessorized with two very visible adhesives covering her breasts. And a seemingly unaware Panettiere was seen smiling for the photographers, reports the New York Daily News.

The 21-year-old actress, who arrived with her boyfriend and heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko, was also seen promoting her latest Lifetime TV movie 'The Amanda Knox Story'.

Hayden Panettiere suffered a Golden Globes wardrobe malfunction

The pretty 21-year-old looked oblivious to the fact that the modesty preserving patches were showing up in photographs taken at HBO's after party.

Bra-less Hayden grinned as she posed in the low-cut sheer navy dress with boyfriend, heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

But the embarrassment didn't prevent the actress from enjoying her evening.

Hayden and her Russian beau attended a post-awards party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The loved-up pair paid a visit to the swanky HBO post party at Circa 55 restaurant in Los Angeles.

Hayden is set to star in a US TV movie next month, focusing on the trial of Amanda Knox who was convicted of sexually assaulting and murdering her British roommate Meredith Kercher in November 2007.

The actress, who plays Knox, admitted she was absorbed by the story.

She said: "It's one of those really riveting stories where you just don't know."

Hayden added: "I can't say I have an opinion. That's why the story is so interesting. I don't know that we'll ever really know."

Heroes' Hayden Panettiere at Post 2011 Golden Globes Awards Party

Fans of NBC's TV series Heroes will certainly recognise HaydenHayden Panettiere. Hayden plays cheerleader Claire Bennet, who has regenerative healing powers. Here she is at HBO's Post 2011 Golden Globes Awards Party in Los Angeles, wearing a see-through dress ... and pasties.

Hayden is no newcomer to television or movies though. She played Coach Yoast's daughter, Sheryl, in the 2000 Disney film Remember The Titans. Hayden has also appeared in over a dozen full-length feature films, several made-for-TV movies.
Some of her notables include Raising Helen as Kate HudsonKate Hudson's adolescent niece, Fireflies in the Garden as a younger version of Emily WatsonEmily Watson's character, Jane Lawrence, and Bring It On: All or Nothing as a cheerleader.

She signed with the William MorrisWilliam Morris Agency in 2007. Forbes estimated that she earned $2 million in that year.

Writer's comment: One wonders when celebrities wear revealing outfits for publicity, but to expose a set of pasties is just not cool. The 21-year-old actress might want to rethink her wardrobe the next time she goes out.

Hayden Panettiere Unsure About Heroes Movie

Hayden Panettiere is still unclear about a rumored movie version of her former TV series Heroes.

Some fans are speculating that a film spin-off will be made to wrap-up the canceled show.

But the actress - who played cheerleader Claire Bennet - doesn't know if it's going ahead.
"I have no idea of any intention [of it]," the 21-year-old beauty tells Zap2It. "I think if it happened, it would be a little bit down the road."

Panettiere adds that she would be interested in the movie if it was given the go ahead. "It would be fun to do, but I know nothing about it."

As for her role on Heroes, Hayden said: "I grew up on that show. I spent some of my real developmental years there, and that's my family.

"They were the best people to grow up around, and it was a great experience. And I loved playing Claire - she grew up with me, and I grew up with her."

Wladimir Klitschko talks show, Hayden Panettiere

New York City's Grand Central Terminal isn't typically where you'd expect to see a boxing ring, a sparing match and catch a glimpse of world champion legends, but when Hollywood's involved, you can anticipate the works.

The spectacle was for "Lights Out", a new Tuesday FX drama from executive producer Warren Leight (formerly of Law & Order: Criminal Intent) about an aging former heavyweight boxing champion struggling with finances and identity after retirement.

The story is of particular curiosity for some of the former world champions who came out for the celebration including Lennox Lewis, Micky Ward and Gerry Cooney. But all eyes were on heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, who's had his own taste of Hollywood, in the form of girlfriend, actress Hayden Panettiere. Klitschko currently holds Ring, WBO, IBF, IBO titles, and is eying one more: David Haye's WBA belt.
Here's what Klitschko had to say about Hollywood, Hayden and conquering Haye.

(Writers note: Imagine these answers in a charming Ukrainian, Russian and German accent)

What affect will this new boxing drama have on the popularity of the sport?

I think we have tremendous media covering the sport of boxing even if boxing is a little bit lost in popularity with MMA sports. And I think that with the show Lights Out it's going to get more attention to the sport and it's going to put more attention to the problems that athletes in general have. I think it's great and interesting because drama is important and in this show you have certain drama and controversy and I think people are going to be really excited to watch.

What would it take to get you to make a cameo on the show?

Me on the show? You know what, I'm playing right now a role and the role is called the Heavyweight Champion of the World. And it takes all of the time. And I love this role and it takes a lot of attention for me for the sport and I just don't want to lose the title so that's why I have to stay focused and not become an actor.

Does being a world champion add more pressure to keep the title or does it take some off because you've accomplished so much?

There is one last title left and that's the WBA title that David Haye is holding right now and I hope that this year we're going to make this fight and eventually all of the titles the Klitschko brothers going to have at once.

You're going to take over the world. Is there anything Hayden can beat you at?

She definitely can beat me at a lot of things, especially with her perfect English. We'll begin with that (laugh).

Any games?

She's actually a good golfer. She has a great swing and she's not confident enough to improve herself but I'm going to work on it. Her swing is there. She's been practicing as a child and I think on the golf course I'm getting a lot of challenge.

She's become quite a boxing fan.

She is. She's a great fan, great supporter, a great motivator. Actually, I beat up guys for her, believe it or not.

Hayden Panettiere Open-Minded About Amanda Knox

HAYDEN Panettiere can’t decide whether convicted murderer Amanda Knox is guilty of her crime or not.

The actress — who plays Knox in a TV movie about her trial and conviction for the murder of her college roommate in Italy three years ago — insists that after researching her character and the crime, she’s still open-minded about Knox.
“We genuinely spent five weeks, every day, talking about it and reading about it and looking at new evidence, trying to form some sort of opinion about it,” Hayden said.

“It was like, ‘She’s innocent. She’s guilty. She’s innocent. She’s guilty. She’s innocent.’ I can’t say that I have an opinion. I don’t know that we’ll ever really know.

“But, regardless of innocence or guilt, I believe she has a spirit. She’s a real person. She was a young girl who had dreams and aspirations.

Panettiere 'interested in Heroes film'

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has admitted that she would be willing to reprise her role in a reunion movie.

The actress played super-powered cheerleader Claire Bennet on the NBC drama from 2006 to 2010.

Asked if she would be interested in a Heroes film, she told Collider: "Yeah, I think so. I get asked that a lot. If there is [a film], I haven’t heard about it yet, but maybe one day. Never say never."

Panettiere added that she was satisified with the way Heroes concluded, despite the show's unexpected cancellation.
"It was a wonderful experience," she insisted. "I loved everything about it. I saw the good in every storyline and everything that was given to us. It's not like I'm going to write something better."

Her co-star Greg Grunberg previously admitted that he is still hoping for a reunion film, while Ali Larter has claimed that the project is unlikely to happen.

Hayden Panettiere Interview AMANDA KNOX

Over the years, Lifetime Television has had great success producing original movies, in particular, films inspired by true stories. Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy, premiering February 21st, stars Hayden Panettiere as the young woman who was accused and convicted of the crime of murdering her college roommate in Italy, but who many still believe is a victim of injustice.
During a recent interview to promote the film, Hayden Panettiere talked about playing a real-life person, how intense the emotions of this role were, and being true to who Amanda Knox is, regardless of her guilt or innocence. She also talked about her 4-year experience on Heroes, and what it was like to be a part of Scream 4, alongside the original cast members. Check out what she had to say after the jump:

Hayden Panettiere Says No Heroes Movie Is Planned

Remember when Heroes was relevant? For like eight months, that’s all anyone could talk about. It was all "Save The Cheerleader, Save The World" this and "Isn’t that Hiro something?" that. Four years later, it was canceled with barely a whimper.
NBC toyed with the idea of giving the characters a one-off television movie to provide some closure, but really, not enough people were interested. All that brings me to the crux of this article. There is no Heroes movie planned. Every now and again, die hard fans try and resurrect the notion of a movie, but there’s usually little evidence to support that. Even less today.

In an interview with Zap2It, star Hayden Panettiere said she had “no idea of any intention”. She further clarified, “It would be fun to do, but I know nothing about it.” This isn’t like the Arrested Development movie. God only knows if that one will get off the ground, but whenever it comes up, whoever is asked always talks about how a script is being written and they’re trying to all organize a date. They say those things because they actually want that movie to happen. Something tells me most of the people involved here couldn’t care less, at least now that they have other shit going on.

Don’t hold your breath on this project ever coming around. Even if those involved are desperate for work, ordinarily, people tend to make films about projects that were popular over the long haul, or at least ones that slowly gained a cult following over time. Heroes never recovered after the first episode of the second season, and if anyone ever revisits the project, it will likely be a full scale reboot with new actors. Your best chance to see this cheerleader is in the upcoming Scream 4.

Hayden Panettiere: Alpha & Omega on DVD Tomorrow!

Only one day left until Hayden Panettiere’s animated feature Alpha & Omega hits shelves!

JJJ got our hands on this behind-the-scenes look of the movie and what it was like voicing an animated character from Hayden and costar Justin Long.

Hayden shares in the video, “Justin is perfect for this role because he’s totally goofy and just with the character.”

Alpha & Omega hits DVD and Bluray shelves on Tuesday, January 11th.

Will a Heroes film wrap up the canceled show?

Hayden Panettiere would be up for a Heroes film, but it is still unclear if it is going ahead or not.

There are speculations growing that a film spin-off will be made to wrap-up the canceled show.
"It would be fun to do, but I know nothing about it. I think if it happened, it would be a little bit down the road" said Panettiere.

The creator of Heroes, Tim Kring is currently involved in another project, called Touch. The pilot centers on a father who discovers that his autistic, mute son can actually predict events before they happen. Check out OMG Music for more.

Hayden Panettiere V. Taraji P. Henson

Same dress, two very different styles! Which star looks more gorgeous in the green strapless?

Hayden Panettiere debuted this adorable mini back in October at a boxing match in Hamburg, Germany. She was there with her boyfriend, Wladimir Klitchko, whose brother was competing that night. She combined the feminine style of the dress with the toughness of a leather jacket and black ankle boots. The ultra-red lip color is great contrasting against the green and gives her an overall glam style.
Taraji P. Henson wore the Elizabeth & James frock to the Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas for the venue’s New Years Eve grand opening. Her up-to-there hemline teamed with gold sandals, a gold clutch, and minimal accessories elongates her legs and makes her skin take center stage — not the dress! She is glowing, though, and looks great.

Hayden Panettiere: 'Amanda Knox' Panel at TCA Tour

Hayden Panettiere appears on a panel to talk about her film Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy at the Television Critics Association Press Tour on Friday (January 7) in Pasadena, Calif.

The pic is the true story of an American college student serving a 26-year jail sentence in Italy. Authorities have accused Amanda of killing her British roommate in 2007 while they were studying abroad.

Also pictured inside: Hayden’s co-star Marcia Gay Harden.

Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy premieres on Lifetime on February 21st.

FYI: Hayden is wearing Kara Ackerman Design’s Old Hollywood Pave Diamond Stud Earrings. She wore HUDSON Collin Double Button skinny jeans in Blue Boar while arriving to the TCA’s.

Emma Watson's Spring 2011 People Tree Line

It seems that Emma Watson really has a knack for this fashion design thing. Looking at her latest and last People Tree collaboration, you can totally see that Watson has pushed the sustainable fashion label in a more, if you will, wearable direction.

The actress along with Safia, People Tree’s founder, and Misato, People Tree’s designer, started working on the Spring 2011 line last year up in Rhode Island just after Watson, 20, stated classes at Brown University. Matter of fact, she's actually been pretty hands on with People Tree since she signed on as the face of the Fairtrade brand in September 2009. But that's because she believes in the principal and power behind sustainable fashion.

"Fashion is a great way to empower people and give them skills; rather than give cash to charity you can help people by buying the clothes they make and supporting things they take pride in," she recently told a fashion publication. " I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren't many options out there.

And we totally agree. Now what was harder to agree on was what our favorite piece of the collection, which features jersey harem parents, blazers, dresses, tees, and tank tops, would be.

Emma Watson goes for the sultry look in her final collaboration with People Tree

It looks like Emma Watson's final People Tree collection will be the best yet, with the brand releasing a sneak-peek for the Spring/Summer collection.

Posing next to a motorbike, Emma looks sexy and sultry as she wears the thigh-skimming Sasha Drape Dress, £48, and and brown boots.

The 20-year-old has been extremely hands-on with the designing of the clothes ever since she was signed on as the face of the Fairtrade label in September of 2009.

Emma Watson In ‘The Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ To Be Picked Up Soon

In my undying quest to bring you even the most arbitrary bit of news concerning Emma Watson, Summit Entertainment is close to picking up the adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower with Watson attached to star.
Never having read the book (though I hear good things), I can only assume that it will kick major ass considering that it is often in the top ten of most banned books by the American Library Association. Controversial subject AND Emma Watson? I’m already lining up for tickets despite the fact that filming won’t begin until June. Summit is near picking up the tab for the film, with the original author, Stephen Chbosky directing off his own script. Watson will costar with Logan Lerman, he of Percy Jackson “fame” and the newest recipient of my unending hatred.

This is probably needless to say, but WOOOO!!! This is the first big career move post-Potter for Watson and it looks like a solid choice. I’m just glad she didn’t pull a Radcliffe and get naked up on stage.

Summit Wants Emma Watson and The PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER

The widely anticipated PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER, starring Harry Potter’s Emma Watson, may have finally found its distributor. According to Vulture, Summit Entertainment (home of the Twilight franchise) is in talks to pick up the movie which could start filming as early as this coming June.
Watson has been attached to the project since last May, when news broke that she would be starring in the film along with actor Logan Lerman. The movie is based on an adaptation of the novel by Stephen Chbosky, which, interestingly enough, Chbosky will direct himself from his own script. It focuses on a high school freshman named Charlie (Lerman) who writes writing anonymous letters to strangers about his life as a social outcast, with the exception of his friendship with a stepbrother and a stepsister (Watson.)

For awhile, the movie seemed to be independently produced by John Malkovich but no studios had come forward to pick up the project. Although there is no formal announcement on Summit’s decision to pick up the film, there are rumors that one could come as early as next week.

Emma Watson reveals her final collection for People Tree

Striking a pose against a battered old motorcycle in draped black mini-dress, paired with calf-grazing pirate boots, Emma Watson's third and final collection for People Tree possesses more than a whiff of rock 'n'roll glamour.
Keen to shed the goody-two-shoes image of her Harry Potter character Hermione Granger, the 20-year-old actress has opted for a music-festival vibe for her last spring/summer 2011 collection.

"I designed the collection last year after I'd started university in the US," Watson revealed. "Safia, People Tree's founder, and Misato, People Tree's designer, came out to work with me in Rhode Island. Together we decided on all the colours, fabrics, shapes and craft skills. Most of all, we took care to design a really wearable collection that truly celebrates the traditional skills of People Tree's fair trade groups around the world."

Taylor Lautner Loving Emma Watson in Incarceron?

Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner has had the role of Finn in the big screen adaptation of Incarceron for a while, but now it’s looking like he might be close to finding out who his love interest is.

Ace Showbiz is reporting that Emma Watson is a possibility for the role of Claudia, but the former Hermione Granger might have to fight for it. Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) and Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone) are also strong possibilities for the role.
The novel, Incarceron, was written by Catherine Fisher and involves a prisoner (Finn) and the warden’s daughter (Claudia) joining forces to break out of the living prison known as Incarceron. Yes, the warden and his daughter are confined to the prison, too. It’s a really good book and you should give it a try.

It might not be a fair way of choosing, and I do hope the part of Claudia goes to whoever is actually best for the role, but the producers and director might want to also consider something. Harry Potter and Twilight have been two huge movie franchises and having a major player from both of those series’ would have fans of both adventures swarming to the theater.

Emma Watson unveils her final range for People Tree

'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson has unveiled her third and final range for the ethical fashion label People Tree.
Watson, 20, who is pictured posing against a battered old motorcycle, while wearing a black mini-dress, paired with calf grazing pirate boots, opted for a music-festival vibe for her last spring/summer 2011 collection.

"I designed the collection last year after I'd started university in the US," the Telegraph quoted Watson as saying.

"Safia, People Tree's founder, and Misato, People Tree's designer, came out to work with me in Rhode Island. Together we decided on all the colours, fabrics, shapes and craft skills. Most of all, we took care to design a really wearable collection that truly celebrates the traditional skills of People Tree's fair trade groups around the world," she added. (ANI)

Emma doesn't know how to spend her fortune

Actress Emma Watson, who earned millions playing Hermione Granger in the " Harry Potter" movies, doesn't know how to spend her money.
"I have way too much money to know what to do with it," quoted her as saying. "I bought a laptop, and a Toyota Prius when I passed my driving test, but that's the most expensive things I've spent my money on outside my education," she added.

Watson also admitted that she prefers being single as she would not make a good girlfriend.

"It's rubbish being my boyfriend. People are constantly coming up to me, I'm always working. I don't have a boyfriend at the moment. It feels good, actually. It's nice to be selfish," she said.

Grint, Watson are top-earning on-screen couple

'Harry Potter' stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have topped a new list of Hollywood's top-earning on-screen couples.

The wizard franchise duo beat out 'The Lord of The Rings' star Liv Tyler and Viggo Mortensen and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' lovers Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley to land atop the new Forbes magazine list, reports
To formulate the list, Forbes bosses looked at couples who had appeared on screen together more than once in the last 10 years. The money mag then added up the global box office for all of the films they starred in together.

'I Have Too Much Money' - What to Do with $17M?

Emma Watson proclaimed, "I have too much money!" The Harry Potter star added she didn't know what to do with all the money she had. Watson made about $17 million from the Harry Potter films.
Watson told the Daily Star that she had run out of ideas on ways to spend her mass fortune. Apparently, Emma Watson's biggest expense is her college education at Brown University! Watson may only be 20, but it's clear, she has a solid footing on reality.

The actress stated, "I bought a laptop, and a Toyota Prius when I passed my driving test, but that's the most expensive things I've spent my money on outside my education."

There are many people who could easily squander their fortune on trivial things. However, it seems Emma Watson is far removed from the pleasures of material things. It's good to see someone transcend their wealth and stay as down to earth as she has.

What would you do with $17 million? Would you splurge on jewels and brand-named items? What about giving away some money to charity? Perhaps, Emma Watson will consider shelling out some of her fortune to help those who are less fortunate.

It's given that Watson's fortune can only grow from here. With her talent and intelligence, there's no way Watson will ever stray down the wrong path.

Emma Watson Has Too Much Money

Emma Watson has one complaint about her super star salary.

She has too much money!
In fact, the Harry Potter star, who is reportedly worth a whopping $32 million, says she has so much money she doesn’t know what to do with it.

After splurging on a laptop and a Toyota Prius—two items she claims are her most expensive purchases to date outside of her education—Watson admits she has no idea what else to spend her fortune on.

And while she says it’s nice to be selfish referring to her single gal lifestyle.
Her conservative spending habits imply she’s anything but when it comes to cashing in!

We can’t say we feel too bad for the 20–year-old actress.
And if she ever needs someone to spoil.

Emma Watson models People Tree collection

Emma Watson's relationship with People Tree is still going strong - the Harry Potter actress's second collection of clothes for the ethical fashion brand has just been released!
Well, she didn't actually have a hand in designing this range, but she did help with picking out the fair trade fabrics including, "a dogtooth hand woven check, cable knits, soft organic jerseys and the first Fair Trade hand woven brushed checked fabric which has been made into easy tulip skirts, dresses and shirts."

The summer collection features the usual sweaters, and skirts, with a few party dresses thrown in too! We're loving the houndstooth dress and the big cable knit jumper.
